My story was born many years ago.
Ha radici che affondano nella ricerca della qualità e nella costante volontà di innovare, un connubio che ha contraddistinto l’impegno e la passione della mia famiglia per il vino, nella terra in cui sono nato: la Sicilia.

My father, “Ciccio” Martinico, handed down to me experience and passion, pushing me to look beyond the tip of my nose… encouraging to study and practice the profession of oenologist with the same passion and integrity, teaching me the attitude to “smell” everything new that might have enriched my knowledge.

My knowledge has been forged in the charming “Langhe Piemontesi” and then refined in the legendary land of the French Medoc, right there, where the Bordeaux was born, and finally in South America, to discover the wines of Chile and the Argentine province of Mendoza. After thousands of kilometres through the vineyards, twenty-three harvests enriched with awards for the companies I have supported during these years, - I felt the need to devote my time to my family history and go back to my origins. This is how the Martinico&Figli brand comes back to life once again. A look that caresses the past to focus decisively on the future.

My mission, in coherence with my history, is to continue investing in the research of the quality of the wines, to bring out their unique local feature... as it has always been in the philosophy (modus operandi) of my family.
